Zeuorian Awakening Alternate Beginning #1

Writing a novel takes several drafts and revisions. For me, it took 12 drafts (revision letter “L”) to write The Zeuorian Awakening. The first chapter was the hardest for me. I ended up writing at least 30 different beginnings until I decided to go with the one I published.  I like to share a few of my alternate beginnings in a series of blog posts.

Please note the chapter below is a rough draft and it wasn’t edited. So all you grammar buffs, please be kind. If you notice a glaring error, just send me a note and I’ll make the correction when I have a chance.

If you haven’t read The Zeuorian Awakening as of yet, the deleted scene doesn’t contain any spoilers.

The Zeuorian Awakening Book Overview

A thrilling paranormal romance with unexpected twists . . .

Lexi’s developing powers beyond her control and causes accidents every time she’s nervous or upset, which being a teenager is hard to avoid, especially when the most popular boys in school are fighting to be with her.

If that isn’t bad enough, a stranger is following her. She doesn’t know who he is or what he wants, yet he knows all about her abilities and that she’s developing more. And . . . he is her only hope of understanding why she’s changing and others are after her. What she learns will send her life into overdrive.
